2 Delco tickets score, as Powerball jackpot soars

A bit of luck has landed in Delaware County, as Powerball's jackpot suddenly became much richer.
It jumped by more than $50 million Saturday, crossing the $300 million mark, with the cash prize topping $200 million for only the second time in the game's history.
Winning $1 million for matching five numbers was a Powerball ticket purchased at D&I Beverage, 485 Baltimore Pike, in Glen Mills.
The matched numbers were 4, 13, 39, 46 and 51, missing just the Powerball, which was 1.
Snagging $733,000 was a ticket for Friday's Cash 5 drawing, purchased at Manoa Diner, 1305 West Chester Pike, in Havertown.
Also matching all five numbers - 6, 11, 18, 30 and 31 - was a Northumberland County ticket, bought at the Turbotville Great Valu, 4680 State Route 54, in Turbotville, about 20 miles southeast of Williamsport.
The Powerball jackpot, which has been growing since late June and jumped by more than $50 million, will be worth an estimated $305 million for the annuity, $203.3 million for the lump-sum payout. The next drawing is Wednesday.
The only larger Powerball annuity in the last six years was $336.4 million in February. A Rhode Island woman who had the single winning ticket instead took the game's biggest cash payout ever: $210 million. Less taxes, of course.
Two Florida tickets, and one each in New Jersey and North Carolina also won $1 million each. Jersey's lucky location was Express Food Mart, 321 Mountain Ave., in Hackettstown, Warren County.
Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot will be worth $36 million, $27 million for the cash, because no one matched all of Friday night's numbers: 10, 18, 36, 38, and 44, with a Mega Ball of 8.
A Pennsylvania ticket - sold at PQ Express, 16 N. Broad St., in West Hazleton, Luzerne County - was one of four that won $250,000 by matching the first five. Two were sold in New York, another in Missouri. A California ticket also matched five but won $525,634 under that state's pari-mutuel setup.
For the record, more records:
Mega Millions set the all-time lottery jackpot mark in March, when the annuity soared to $656 million, the cash to $471 million. It was divvied by winners in Maryland, Illinois and Kansas.
Powerball's biggest annuity, $365 million, was won by a Nebraska ticket in February 2006.
