Chick-fil-A freebie: Dress like a cow, get a free meal

The Chick-fil-A Cow wears a Tennessee Volunteers jersey and an 'Eat Mor Chikin' sign during the Chick-fil-A Bowl between the Tennessee Volunteers and the Virginia Tech Hokies at the Georgia Dome on December 31, 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia.

On July 13, 2012, Chick-fil-A announced they would give a free meal to those who came to one of their 1600 participating stores nationwide dressed like a cow. The promotion is part of “Cow Appreciation Day” and those who wear a partial costume may earn a free entrée. Those who dress “head to hoof” will be rewarded with a free meal. Those running low on cow costumes can even get cow headgear from the restaurant in a free, printable download. Click here for a free cow starter kit in PDF format.
Chick-fil-A stores nationwide have participated in the promotion that runs for one day only and has been met with amazing results. One restaurant in Albany, Georgia took the promotion another step further and gave customers the chance to exercise their charitable reach. The restaurant enabled customers to donate to World Vision in an opportunity that would raise money to help ensure families in need could secure dairy cows. In addition to the charitable giving, Chick-Fil-A of Albany vowed to match all donations received.
The free deal is good for breakfast, lunch, and dinner so if you haven’t yet, hurry up, get your cow gear on and graze on over to your nearest Chick-fil-A.
